Teaching
My teaching career began in the high school classroom in South Mississippi. After completing my undergraduate degree in biology and mathematics at William Carey University, I secured my alternate route teaching license and returned to my high school alma mater to launch my teaching career, where I taught algebra, physics, and ACT prep. At Auburn, I have served as a graduate teaching assistant for introductory biology labs, anatomy and physiology, and introduction to computational biology. I am also a community education instructor with the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project.
